We know that Canada is only as strong as the individual neighbourhoods of which it is comprised. We are very proud in Toronto-St.Pauls of our strong neighbourhoods and our passionate citizens working every day to make a better neighbourhood, city, province, country and world. Jane Jacobs taught us the importance of neighbourliness in building better communities. We would love to celebrate the great neighbours in Toronto-St. Paul’s who are in effect ‘nation-builders’.
We would love your help. Please think of an amazing neighbour or ‘unsung hero’ that should be recognized for their contribution to our community with a Canada 150 pin.
Send us your nominations via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by November 17th. You can also send your nominations to our new address (postage free) at:
Office of the Hon. Carolyn Bennett, M.P.
Suite 103, 40 Holly St
Submissions must include your name, address and contact details, as well as the name, address, and contact details of the person you believe should be recognized and a letter describing their contributions to Toronto-St. Paul’s.
We will celebrate with the winners at a special reception later this fall, where I look forward to meeting all the outstanding neighbours of Toronto-St. Paul’s!
