20th Anniversary in Parliament

On June 2, 1997, I was elected as the Member of Parliament for St. Paul’s. Every day, I am so aware of the honour it is to serve one of the most engaged ridings in the country. I have always understood the parallel of my role as an MP and my ‎role as a family doctor—ask what’s wrong, listen, and work together on a plan. Over twenty years I have been inspired by your advocacy for our neighbourhoods and communities, our province, our country, and indeed, the world.

‎Thank you so much for all your wise counsel and support. The time has flown by. I am so excited by how much more we can do together.

Thank you, merci, miigwech.
