On July 8th and 9th, the annual Salsa on St. Clair street festival once again brought thousands of people to the streets of Toronto-St. Paul’s for a spectacular celebration of Latin culture in Toronto. The weather co-operated for a lovely family-friendly weekend! It was an honour to stand beside Arif Virani, Member of Parliament for Parkdale-High Park and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism and deliver a celebratory message from the Prime Minister.
I look forward to Salsa on St. Clair every year. It is a fantastic time with delicious food, great music, and incredible dancing. I am so proud that Toronto-St. Paul’s is home to this festival, and that it continues to grow every year. Thank you to Councillor Joe Mihevc, to the Hillcrest Village Business Improvement Area, and to the many hard-working volunteers with the Salsa in Toronto Festival! Congratulations to everyone on another fantastic celebration, and I’ll see you next year!
